Raymond Legal is a boutique entertainment law firm specializing in transactional legal services to production companies, studios, producers, writers, on-camera talent, directors and other professionals within the entertainment industry.

TEAM

BRIAN RAYMOND

Founding Partner | br@raymondlegal.com | (310) 684-3692

Prior to forming the firm, Brian held in-house business and legal affairs positions at two different Los Angeles-based production companies, GRB Entertainment and 3 Ball Entertainment. With the experience and relationships garnered during his in-house stints, Brian’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish the practice in 2011, based on the simple but immutable principles of: putting your clients first, following through on your word, doing great work, being appreciative of others and remembering daily that your name and reputation is all you truly have, which guiding philosophies continue to serve the firm and, most importantly, its clients to date.

Brian represents studios, production companies, directors, producers, writers and on-camera talent in all facets of their entertainment endeavors, including by serving as de facto general counsel and head of business affairs for several of the firm’s company clients that lack internal legal resources. Brian also utilizes the firm’s long-held and trusted network of outside legal specialists to quickly and seamlessly serve its clients’ particular (and often complex) needs in real-time, including by consulting industry-recognized corporate, immigration, First Amendment/Fair Use, labor and employment firms and attorneys on an as-needed basis.

Brian earned a B.A. from Purdue University and his J.D. from California Western School of Law. Originally from small-town Indiana, Brian currently resides in Palos Verdes with his wife and three children.
