Prior to forming the firm, Brian served as in-house legal and business affairs counsel for two of Hollywood’s premier reality production companies. He began as an intern for GRB Entertainment during law school and was hired into a fulltime position following graduation. Following GRB, Brian moved to 3 Ball Entertainment (formerly Eyeworks USA) where he eventually became Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs, handling all production legal, development, rights and clearances, risk management and other matters for the company’s numerous programs. Brian has provided day-to-day production legal and business affairs services (including, as applicable, network/studio negotiations and agreements, talent agreements, showrunner agreements, director agreements, participant agreements, rights and clearances and risk management) on more than one hundred reality television series and pilots.
Brian earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Purdue University and his Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law. He is an active member of The State Bar of California. In his spare time, Brian coaches aspiring triathletes for the non-profit group Team in Training, an athletic fundraising division of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Himself an avid endurance athlete, Brian has completed numerous races over the years, including Ironman Florida and the New York City Marathon. Brian is originally from the small Midwestern town of Franklin, Indiana.
